Traffic Volume Forecasts

Pima Association of Governments (PAG) maintains the regional travel demand models and databases to forecast future travel in the region. The future travel demand forecasted by the travel demand models have been employed to support the annual TIP (Transportation Improvement Program), Long Range Transportation Planning and other regional planning studies.

Use of Information

  • Pima Association of Governments maintains a regional travel demand model to support and promote the best possible forecasting of future travel for the region. This model has been calibrated and validated using available traffic counts, national average modeling parameters, census and household survey data, and other available transportation data for the PAG region. The maps and the information included are all produced by Pima Association of Governments' regional travel demand model.
  • The model information included in the maps is subject to change without notice.
  • Information included in the maps may be downloaded from the links provided below and should be used for planning purposes only. If you have more recent data, it is strongly suggested that you make appropriate adjustments to the information based on your data as necessary.
  • The maps are in ESRI's shapefile format, viewable with most GIS software and Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader.
