How can my driving practices reduce ozone levels?

  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Keep your car tuned and tires properly inflated to increase mileage and save fuel
    • Dejunk the trunk and passenger areas; your vehicle burns more fuel and releases more pollutants when there’s extra weight

    • Refuel after 5 p.m. to reduce gasoline emissions
    • Stop refueling at the "Click” to avoid overfilling and excess fumes
    • Tighten your gas cap to reduce vapor leakage
